The Jeanneau Sun Kiss 45 was designed by Philippe Briand and built in the town of Les Herbiers in the Vendee region when Jeanneau was considered the top production builder in France. The design was extremely popular and more than 300 were built over the course of 5 years, although very few can be found in the US. At the time the Sun Kiss 45 was considered to be a performance boat and with its 6.2 ft draft and generous sail plan, the boat is still today a very fast cruiser. Accommodations & Layout: The Sun Kiss 45 Flamili with her 3 staterooms and 2 heads is ideal for a family of 4 or 3 couples looking for a roomy cruiser with better performance than the average charter boat normally offers. She can accommodate up to 8 if salon dinette is converted to a berth. Coming down the companionway is the navigation station to starboard and a large hanging locker to port. There are two cabins aft, both equipped with wash basin and lockers. Between the cabins is a head that is accessible from either side.
The galley of the Sun Kiss 45 is to starboard and features a propane stove with 2 burners and oven; forward is a double SS sink with hot and cold pressure and foot sea water intake. Alongside is the top loading ice box with Adler Barbour refrigeration as well as a separate ice box. Above the sink and ice box is ample storage for plates, glasses and kitchen paraphernalia… The master cabin has a double bunk to port with storage drawers underneath. The starboard side of the mast cabin has a large locker as well as dressing bench with a small desk. Forward of the master cabin is the head with shower and sink and a large sail locker with shelves.
